Private Parties

Inner Goddess is proud to offer instructional private parties for everyday women (18 and up) to help them celebrate special occasions. Please note: we do not offer private parties for men, nor are we able to make referrals for this type of service. Calls of this nature are simply not returned.
Private parties are a great way to celebrate a special occasion (bachelorette, birthday party, etc) or simply a great way for your girl friends to get together to do something different and fun! Our experienced and fun staff will help make your party memorable and something your girlfriends talk about for months!
Party Policies:
- All parties are held in our studio located in Harrisonburg, VA
- We are unable to allow alcohol into our studio for your safety
- Women appearing intoxicated will not be allowed on the poles for their safety & may be asked to leave (with out refund).
- A deposit secures the date and instructor for your party, and is not refundable.
- All parties are open to women-only, 18 and up. Valid ID is required.
- No spectators allowed. No minors allowed in the studio.
- All participants should wear comfortable workout clothing. You may dance barefoot. Jeans and dresses are not recommended
- Due to scheduling, if the party begins late because partiers arrive late, the lesson will still end on time.
- Please make sure you book the appropriate party for your group. Because of the fact we book the studio and instructor according to the party package you select we are unable to “downgrade” a party (for instance, go from an hour and 15 minute party to a 1.5 hour party). Upgrades may not be available if another party is scheduled before or after yours.
- To avoid confusion and to allow your group to maximize their party time, we only accept cash or one credit card payment for the remaining balance the day of the party. Party attendees wishing to pay individually are encouraged to bring cash or reimburse one person for their part of the party fee. We also encourage you to work out payment arrangements amongst your group ahead of time so that you may spend your party time having fun verses counting cash.
- Gratuity for instructors is not required, but greatly appreciated.
Party Costs:
Small Group Party - $175 - includes an hour and fifteen minutes of private instruction in one of our dance forms & private use of our studio. A maximum of 5 women. (Sorry, we cannot accommodate larger groups for these types of parties).
Basic Party - $240 - includes an hour and a half of private instruction in one of our dance forms, private use of our studio & guest of honor receives a party favor. Up to 8 women.
Deluxe Party - $300 - includes an hour and a half of private instruction in any of our dance forms, private use of our studio & guest of honor receives an Inner Goddess t-shirt & party favor. Up to 10 women may attend.
Group Party - $400 - includes 2 hours of instruction in two different dance classes we offer, private use of our studio, and 2 instructors. (Group will be split into two smaller groups to learn each dance so that guests have maximum time with instructors and on the pole). Guest of honor receives an Inner Goddess t-shirt and party favor. Up to 20 women may attend. *a group party must be booked at least three weeks in advance. A deposit of $200 is required to reserve your date and instructors.
How do I book my party?
The first step in booking your party is to check with your guests to find out which dates/times work for them. Typically, parties are held on Friday or Saturday evenings. We can try to make other arrangements if you need a different date or time. (Please note that the earlier you plan the more likely it is we can accommodate your request). Appoint one person to be your “point of contact” (POC) between your guests and the studio. You can also collect money up front from your guests if that makes the POC’s job easier.
Next, have the POC email or call the studio to see if the date/time you are looking for is available. If your date is available, a deposit is required to hold the date/time of your party. We never hold party dates with out a deposit, so if you call one day to see if the date you are looking at is available, it may not be the next day.
Once we receive the deposit, your party date is reserved and we will look forward to seeing you and your guests. Please make sure all your guests are aware of our policies and bring their ID’s and wear appropriate work out attire.
Booking your party early helps us accommodate you better! Therefore, we offer early booking bonuses, see below. Parties booked with less notice are still possible, please check with us for availability. Sorry, we are unable to book parties with less than 72 hour notice.
Party Deposits & Early Booking Bonus
Party Deposit: A deposit of $100 is required to reserve your party date and instructor if your party is booked 3 weeks in advance (unless otherwise noted). The remainder is due the day of your party. Deposits are not refundable, but the date can be changed to another available date as long as the studio receives 72 hour notice.
Late Booking Deposits: Parties booked less than 3 weeks before a party require a $200 deposit. Parties booked a week (or less) before a party requires the entire party amount to be paid up front.
Early Booking Bonus: Book your party a month or more before your party date and receive free cupcakes and/or cookies for your guests! Each guest will also receive a coupon for $5 off any Inner Goddess class/merchandise to be used after your party date. (early booking bonus is void if party date is changed).
